About our Home

Newly renovated, perfect for groups of friends, couples, and families. Large (1,700+ sq. feet), quiet, 3-bedroom home 4 min to the Village and a 7-min Uber to Rhinecliff train station (2h to Penn Station from there). Close to hiking, skiing, grocery stores, shops and restaurants. The back yard features a gorgeous tear-drop pond, canoe, BBQ, and large dining area.

Highlights

• Three private bedrooms with queen-sized beds and ample closet and cabinet space. The living room features a large sectional couch (sleeps one person) and a twin-sized day bed that can sleep two kids or small adults. All bedding and mattresses are brand new and we've received favorable comments.
• 55" smart connected TV with access to Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, HBOgo, and others.
• Full kitchen with brand new appliances, including a microwave, dishwasher, stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, electric tea kettle, and coffee maker.
• All major cooking utensils, pots and pans and linens are supplied.
• Working fireplace. We supply two Duraflame logs per stay.

The house and local amenities

• Guests have complete, private access to the house. Entry is code-based, and no key is needed.
• Often called the Hamptons of the Hudson Valley, Rhinebeck is a 4-season getaway boasting restaurants, shops, galleries, museums, performing arts, independent film, and historic homes and architecture. Hiking and biking trails provide outdoor enthusiasts places to explore the natural beauty of the region.
• Our particular location is 4 minutes from downtown Rhinebeck, yet is secluded and peaceful.
• The property is also a short drive to Kingston, which offers virtually every recognized retail outlet imaginable. We're also 30 mins or less to Hudson, Red Hook and Germantown.
• The property includes a driveway with free parking.
• If you don't have a car, we're also an 8-minute Uber ride from the Rhinecliff train station (2 hours to Penn Station). We also have a great local car service we'll happily recommend.
• Wireless Internet available.

House rules

• This is a non smoking house and no parties are allowed. You will be asked to leave if any form of smoking or partying or loud music occurs. This is a family house.
• We love dogs! Pet fee is $30/pet/stay.

About the host

I'm an Airbnb superhost and work for a software company in New York City. My wife, son and I love the Hudson Valley area and plan to move there next year. We created this website so we could circumvent Airbnb commissions and be more selective with our guests.
