Quiet 3-bedroom home with a tranquil back yard and private pond.

Newly renovated and perfect for groups of friends, couples, or families, this quiet 3-bedroom home (1,700+ sq. ft.) is just 4 minutes to the Village and a 7-minute Uber to the Rhinecliff train station (2 hours to Penn Station from there). The backyard features a gorgeous tear-drop pond, canoe, firepit, BBQ, and large dining area.

'Rare find' gets overused, but in this case is completely appropriate... The private backyard is an extra treat, with its large pond and abutting forest... Market Street in Rhinebeck is under 1.5 miles away and has several charming shops and a great selection of diverse restaurants... Scott was exceedingly responsive & helpful.

Often called the Hamptons of the Hudson Valley, Rhinebeck is a 4-season getaway boasting restaurants, shops, galleries, museums, performing arts, independent film, and historic homes and architecture. Hiking and biking trails provide outdoor enthusiasts places to explore the natural beauty of the region.

• Rhinebeck Village (5 min): A charming Hudson Valley village known for its walkable Main Street, historic architecture, and the Beekman Arms (one of America's oldest continuously operating inns). Home to boutique shops, farm-to-table restaurants, the famous Dutchess County Fairgrounds, and the incredible Rhinebeck pool for a summer dip. Don't miss Samuel's Sweet Shop for treats and Del's Roadside for a classic stop.
• Rhinecliff (10 min): A quiet riverside hamlet just minutes away, with a scenic Amtrak station on the Hudson River, a handful of standout restaurants, and sweeping river views.
• Red Hook (10 min): A few miles north, offering more small-town charm, local wineries, orchards, the historic Elmendorph Inn, and Rose Hill Farm, with fresh produce, local flavor, and a great on-site restaurant with outdoor seating, beer, and wine.
• Tivoli (15 min): A small, artsy village with a growing food scene and easy access to Bard College's cultural offerings.
• Kingston (15–20 min): The area's largest city and former state capital, with a revitalized waterfront (the Rondout district), art galleries, craft breweries, and a full lineup of big-name retailers like Target, Lowe's, LL Bean, Michael's, and scores more — pretty much any brand you can think of.

• If you don't have a car, we're an 8-minute Uber/taxi ride from the Rhinecliff train station (2 hours to Penn Station). We know a reliable local car service we'll happily recommend.
• Fast wireless Internet.

House rules

• This is a non smoking house and no parties are allowed. You will be asked to leave if any form of smoking or partying or loud music occurs. This is a family house.
• We love dogs! Pet fee is $30/pet/stay.

Rates, Booking Process and Fees

• Nightly availability and rates shown on the calendar tab.
• All major cards are accepted.
• You'll sign a rental agreement upon booking for your peace of mind.
• Standard booking: 50% collected upfront, remaining 50% charged 7 days prior to check-in.
• Booking within 7 days of check-in: full payment required upfront.
• A $300 security deposit is held during your stay. It's fully refunded after check-out providing no major damages.

About the host

I'm an Airbnb superhost and work for a software company in New York City. My wife, son and I love the Hudson Valley area and plan to move there next year. We created this website so we could circumvent Airbnb commissions and be more selective with our guests.
